How to apply the tape weft hair extensions by Goddess

   The tape weft hair extension process is one of the most popular methods for applying Permanent Hair Extensions today. It has revolutionised the Permanent Hair Extension process to such a high degree due to a number of factors. Firstly the tape weft hair extension system does not cause damage your own hair like the bonding or weaving processes. It is merely a seamless weft of human hair that is fused to a thin skin like polyurethane (PU) strip. The top backing of wefts are sticky and peeled from the thermal taped hair (like a sticker) and 'sandwiched' between thin sections of hair. The hair sits comfortably, is thin enough for you not to notice that you are wearing them, even when you are sleeping and they seamlessly blend into your hair granting discreet coverage.

Application of the tape weft takes 20-30 minutes to apply the half pack and 40 - 60 minutes for a full pack. Hair can be reused with new retapes. Typically they should be removed and retaped within 4 - 6 weeks. This is dependent on regrowth and the speed at which your own hair grows. Removal requires you to purchase the Goddess Tape Weft Removal Spray. This is non oily solution. After spraying the tape weft with removal spray, use a fine tooth comb to ease the extension weft away from your own hair. The comb will assist in removing any left over adhesive on the tape weft. Retapes are sold separately on our site, and are cut to the appropriate width - easy to stick right back onto the hair extension pieces once they are dry and free from adhesive. Tape Weft Training is available in limited appointments.
